PRIVACY
A note on your privacy.
How this author website handles your visit and signed-copy requests.
Signed-copy requests
When you submit a signed-copy request, your name, email address, book selection, quantity, signing preference and any optional inscription or shipping region are sent through FormSubmit to steven.rainwater8@gmail.com. Steven uses this information to answer your request and arrange availability, shipping and payment. Your email address lets him reply directly.
FormSubmit processes submissions under its privacy policy. Its submission page may use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam; Google’s privacy policy and terms apply there. No form-service scripts load on this site before you submit. This site does not save your request in browser storage. FormSubmit and email providers process and may retain submitted messages; Steven manages correspondence in his email.
Provide only what is needed to discuss your book, personalization and shipping. Do not include payment-card information or a full mailing address in the initial request. For an alternative, email Steven directly.
Payments
This site does not take payment or collect payment-card information. Steven confirms stock and shipping by email, then arranges payment with you afterward. Please do not email payment-card details.
The world atlas
The atlas uses map files included with this site. It does not request your location or contact an external map service. Map filters and spoiler choices are held only for the current page visit.
Visual effects
The decorative background responds to pointer movement on your device. Pointer positions are not saved or sent to a server. The motion is disabled when your device requests reduced motion, and the background stays still on touch devices.
Links and hosting
This site does not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts or embedded social feeds. Links to Amazon and Facebook open those services, which handle visits under their own privacy policies. The site is hosted by ChatGPT Sites; hosting and sign-in services may process technical access information.
